What does a property manager do in Trinidad and Tobago?
A property manager runs a rental property for its owner. Dream Dwell Realty finds and screens tenants, prepares the lease, collects rent, arranges repairs, inspects the property and handles tenant questions, then reports back to you. You keep ownership and the final say on major decisions. We manage residential and commercial property across Trinidad and Tobago from our office in Port of Spain.

How much does property management cost?
We quote each property individually, because the work depends on the property type, its location, the number of units and whether it is already tenanted. Tell us about your property by phone, email or the enquiry form and we will send you a management proposal with our fees set out in writing before you commit to anything.

Can you manage my property if I live overseas?
Yes. Many owners of property in Trinidad and Tobago live abroad and need someone local they can trust. We act as your contact on the ground: we deal with tenants, arrange repairs, inspect the property and keep you updated by phone or email, so you know how your property is doing without needing to fly home.

Do you manage commercial property as well as homes?
Yes. Dream Dwell Realty works with both residential and commercial property, so we can manage houses, apartments and townhouses as well as commercial space such as offices and shops. Tell us what you own and how it is let today, and we will explain how we would manage it.

How do you choose tenants for my property?
We advertise the property, show it to interested people and check each applicant before recommending them to you. Checks typically cover identity, proof of income and references from an employer or previous landlord. You see the result and decide on the tenant before a lease is signed.

Do landlords in Trinidad and Tobago need to register their rental property?
Under the Landlord Business Surcharge introduced in the 2025/2026 Budget, the Ministry of Finance states that all landlords are required to register with the Inland Revenue Division. Rules, fees and deadlines can change, so confirm your position with the Inland Revenue Division or your accountant.
